* Every question changes algorithmically in one of the following ways: | I. | Question Alternatives - The first question in Kinematics, for instance, asks the student to match a phrase to one of five terms. The phrase switches among the definitions that match each of the five possible answers. | | II. | Random Variables - The first item in Dynamics-Cumulative Problem poses a question about the vertical component of a force being applied at an angle. In this exercise, the magnitude of the force, the angle at which the force is applied, the mass of the object, and the coefficient of friction all vary randomly. | | III. | Alternatives with Random Variables - The first question in Dynamics deals with the interconnection among mass, acceleration, and net force. Given values for two of these items, the student is asked to compute the third. All numbers change algorithmically, and any of the three components may be the missing item. | |
